Ongoing research
My research program is focused on immigrants’ experiences, immigrant women’s experiences, with a particular interest in Indian and South Asian immigrants’ experiences and the impact in the workplace including identity construction and formation processes and interpersonal communication. I am presently completing the report on the project on anti violence work in Atlantic Canada with my collaborators for submission to Status of Women Canada.
