- Contemporary French cinema in the French republican context and the new global order
- French / francophone queer cinema
- Impact of digital technology on film aesthetics and narrative.
Ongoing research
I am focusing mainly on French queer cinema, more precisely the films of Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau and the verbal / physical expression (or its difficulty) of homosexuality in the public sphere.
