Ongoing research

My current research project examines the potential of ICT and mobile communications to improve healthcare services even in some of the most remote and resource poor environments. My project on cultural diversity and interpersonal conflict in health care is focused on understanding the sources of conflict between health care receivers and providers from health care receivers' perspective. My multidisciplinary project on development-related topics in the context of economic growth, health communication, and environmental sustainability is pursuing policy-relevant research with a focus on how a broad-based inclusive development can be attained in the face of critical challenges posed by globalization in developing countries.
